I know to get a mini from the royal gifts i need alot, and with the nerf to the courier and NO REBALANCE to the bounties, unlike what the notes say, it is rather annoying. I should at least get one gift a day with just doing bounties with 2 characters, not this double 3+1 reward mess we got the past 2 days.

You know, the rebalance to the bounties might actually mean that we get to do more of the 3+1 ones than we would've if they hadn't rebalanced them.

Pain inverter is fairly limited against the Jade Cloaks, as hexes last half duration on them, and any lengthy part exposure to their extremely high damage Earth Magic AoE will likely result in a very painful end for a H/H party. An all human group will fair much better against the cloaks.
But again, I like that they are amazingly challenging, and hope they aren't nerfed at all. However, with the amount of complaining I've seen about the Cloaks, it wouldn't surprise me.
Also... any battle with 4+ Cloaks in some kind of monstrous final battle with the Mantle would likely result in total annihilation of any party, all human or otherwise.

Despite how horrible they sound, the 3+1 bounties are actually pretty balanced - compare them for example to the typical 70zcoins bounties - reward is similar or even better in the new ones and they're incredibly short and easy to do, much faster than zaishen ones. Still I don't like their existance - I spend more time zoning between LA, the keep and proper outpost and again, than fighting in the explorable itself. Not my idea of fun.

*shrugs* They didn't seem that difficult to me but I only ended up going against them 3 or 4 times. So I guess I haven't had a bad experience yet.

Ive done Bauer four times now, and every time the Jade Cloak ele dropped to a single Pain Inverter, even with healers nearby... a mass of expendable bodies (minions or spirits) is all it takes to drop it in a second or two, just wait until you see it casting an AoE and then drop PI on it.
On topic: 3+1 daily rewards are a bit of a joke, while the Inquisitor bounties are quite nice (and easy) the regular bounties are far too low...
Falken's rewards were nerfed to stop farming (both mindful of the economy and grind inducement), quite understandable, but the bounties are limited to once per day per character... grind isn't really an issue here.
How would people feel about the daily bounties if they were account based (once per day per account) but yield much better returns? That would be both anti grind and still mindful of economic issues...

Imo the 4 war supply bounties just aren't worth doing.

This. RP reasons for low rewards can be stuck where the sun doesn't shine. If the effort to do these kill-quests is the same as the others, and it is, then the rewards need to be significantly more then 3/1. Try making them all 10/5 and maybe people will actually do them.
What a waste of developer time. Putting in bounty/quests that no one will do, due to the pure crap rewards. Is this the kind of crap we can expect from gw2?

The reward for the 4 supply bounties is really not that great. However, as one of those people who only have grind type titles left to finish it is a nice excuse to take my 2 chars that I actually took through all the dialogues and running around to get to the point where I could take the bounty quests (pretty painful in itself) and team with people in pugs and go fight some new, interesting enemies. I do them all in HM so teams I get in or form seem to have people who know what they are doing, all of teams I have been in have had a variety of proffessions in them and people for the most part are nice. It's a nice break from the same old, same old.

Makes me wonder how anet plans to get the new weapons revealed in the .dat file. That is, if they plan on revealing it for possession of the players. Though the name for each icon pic is interesting. Zora_Shiningblade_(whatever weapon it is). Well, something like that. I haven't found anything about the name Zora from the game, so this makes me wonder...

OT: Zora? Sounds more like an NPC name... ohhh, unlockable heroes (for the remaining professions) pre-equipped with the new weapon skins (blues like Mox) maybe this is what our medals of honor will be for?

Zora is a user on the wiki that hacks the .dat files and posts what is in there on his page.

Hmmm.... That sums it up. Still, I am wondering what the effort anet will want us to put to get these weapons. They are rather sweet, I must say.

Grind is not an issue for the normal player who may do a bounty on a couple of toons and move on, but for some of these guys who are serious farmers. They make it about grind. They will take 10 toons on three accounts and grind the heck out these bounties night and day for weeks then post about how much work they put in and deserve a reward if they don't get the drops they want.

I would think that is a great idea, but it would probably enrage the farmers because it cuts into their grind.
